Hi Ashley! Welcome back to planDisney.
I've had several wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacations when traveling with a larger group of friends or family, and it sounds like you're planning to do the same. You are going to make so many magical memories together.
The best way to request connecting rooms is by
calling and speaking with a Cast Member in the Disney Reservations Center. They are open from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. EST daily, and I recommend calling first thing for the most reasonable wait times. Hold times are longer than usual right now, so bring something to do to multitask while you're on hold (and enjoy the Disney hold music - I love it!). You may also make this request through the Chat With Us feature in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right of your screen and then scroll down and tap "Chat With Us." Be sure to enter both reservation numbers, the name associated with each reservation, and your request - the more details you provide, the easier the request will be to process.
While requests for connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed, Cast Members will do their very best to accommodate you. We visited once with my parents, and while we weren't able to get connecting rooms, we were next-door neighbors. My kiddos loved going next door to Grandma and Grandpa's room for morning and bedtime snuggles!
