Can I request a building and floor for our resort room reservation? Is it an extra fee?

Hi there, Michael! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for bringing us your question! It sounds like you have a holiday visit planned to Walt Disney World -- how exciting! Staying on property at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels will place you in the magic from start to finish of your vacation.

The best way to request adjoining rooms and/or a particular building/floor will be to contact Disney Reservations via telephone after the reservations are made and make that request as early as possible. There are no guarantees regarding special room requests, but the Cast Members definitely want to do their best to make families happy, and I know they will try to make this happen for you! Additionally, I would recommend that you contact the Front Desk of your Resort Hotel room on the day before check-in to reiterate your preference and that you do so during the Online Resort Check-In process. There is a section for Room and Amenity Requests during the check-out process.

Michael, I hope that this information helps you plan the best vacation for yourself and your loved ones! Walt Disney World is ready to return Guests to the magic, and I cannot wait until you can see this for yourself! Before you travel, be sure to check out the Experience Updates pages, where you will see all the newest policies and procedures surrounding the phased reopening of the Disney Parks. Also, please know that you are welcome back here anytime we can help again in the future!

    Happy planning!
