    Can you request an air purifier on the Fantasy ship

    Welcome to planDisney, Theresa!

    You've probably checked the Prohibited and Restricted Items list on the Disney Cruise Line website and noticed that air purifiers aren't explicitly listed. I suppose the list can't include every possible item. I guess it focuses on the most common items. But I've had a similar question related to things like our family's ultrasonic cleaning pod.

    Yes, Guests on the Disney Cruise Line ships may request to use an available air purifier device. These purifiers include a HEPA filter and can be requested from your stateroom host or hostess. This is the most convenient route for you. However, if you happen to have extra space in your luggage to bring your own purifier, you may do so, as long as it is no more than 9.5 inches by 6 inches by 28 inches. Personal purifiers must also be inspected by the ship's Chief Electrician to verify that they comply with the ship's stringent safety requirements. That inspection may delay being able to use the device. And you may need to pick up inspected devices from the Guest Services Desk, which is what we had to do with our cleaning pod.
