Hi Amber,
Thank you for visiting us at the
Disney Parks Moms Panel. February may seem so far far away, but I'll be here before you know it. It is also a great time to visit, especially during
Epcot International Festival of the Arts, which is returning early next year.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is such an enchanting place to stay, with incredible rooms themed to some of your favorite movies, and houses the largest pool in the whole Resort:
The Big Blue Pool. The Resort Hotel also has family suites which can accommodate up to six Guests. And very soon, it will have a new
Resort Transportation option available:
Disney Skyliner.
The Little Mermaid section includes rooms that can accommodate up to four Adults, with limited number of Connecting Rooms, that is, rooms with an interior connecting door. Note that "adjoining rooms" simply refer to rooms that are near each other, without actually having an interior door connecting them. Also, there are few rooms with King-Size beds.
When you have more than one room reserved, you want to make sure the two reservations are linked together, which can easily be done by a vacation planning expert at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent. They can also add a request for connecting, adjoining, or rooms with King-Size beds, but note that although every effort will be made to accommodate your request, these are not guaranteed. At this time, Walt Disney World Resort does not publish information regarding the locations of specific room types, but our friends at Touring Plans try to keep track of known connecting rooms and rooms with King Size beds.
One last tip: it looks like you are within 180 days from Check-In. Have you made
dining reservations yet? Happy planning!
Ricardo.
