    What is replacing the electrical parade since it is leaving 10/9? We are coming 11/12 and was planning to watch this parade so a little bummed.

    Hi Sarah,

    I'm very unhappy to confirm that the Main Street Electrical Parade is leaving the Magic Kingdom on October 9.  I'm bummed too; it has always been my favorite parade...in fact, the music for it is my ringtone.  Now, I'm sure that whatever replaces it will be terrific.  You know Disney doesn't do anything if it's not over the top fantastic. 

    I know that you don't want to hear "To Be Announced", but no information regarding a replacement has been released.  You can keep an eye out for news on The Disney Parks Blog.  Any new information regarding anything Disney is posted there first.  Of course, if you'd like to come back and ask us if we've received any new information that would be great too.

    I really am sorry to be the bearer of no news.  Wishing you a terrific time on your vacation and a magical day!
