We are repeat visitors to walt disney world and we are going back in October. I am debating on purchasing the meal plan package. Any advice?

    Hi Jennifer!

You can get more information on the various Disney Dining Plans here.  Unfortunately, I can't tell you if it's a good idea or not.  A lot of guests save a lot of money being on a Disney Dining Plan, while others don't save much and some even spend more!  The only way to tell is to do the math.  I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.net.  There you can see menus for the various restaurants at Walt Disney World.  I recommend picking out some restaurants that you would like to try and seeing what you think guests in your party would order.  Then you can compare the cost of paying for everything each time versus being on a Disney Dining Plan.

Whatever you do, be sure to make Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs).  ADRs can be made up to 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by doing it online.  Some of the restaurants at Walt Disney World are extremely popular and will fill up fast!  I recommend making reservations as early as you can!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
