    We are repeat visitors to Disney (4th trip!) Every year when we watch the Animal Kingdom parade & see the families in the floats, my children ask if they can do that. This year I want to surprise them & arrange this - how do I do it?

    Hi Louise,

    Unfortunately I am a bit "out of the loop" with the current way for doing this, but I will tell you the strategy for a few years ago.  You would have to go first thing in the morning when the Park had just opened to guests and quickly go to the Guest Relations and put your request in there.  Everyone seems to want to do this, so it is important to be one of the first guests to get there for park opening.  Once you get to Guest Relations (just inside the main gate to the left hand side), you will mention to the cast member that you would like to be that "special" family they use for their parade and if the spot has not been taken, well then it will be yours.  As I mentioned.....this is how it used to be done and I am not sure if it has been changed or not recently, although I wouldn't think so as I have not heard anything changing since then.  I hope your wish comes true for you and your  family.....BELIEVE.....BELIEVE!!!!
