With a rep on the phone, my mom changed the reservation from Tuesday to Wednesday, and we have our 2nd reservation on Friday. She wants to know if she needs to do anything with the ticket itself since it was purchased for Tuesday and it says it has a range

    Hi there Dorothy!

Thank you so much for submitting your question and welcome to planDisney! I see that your vacation has finally arrived, you must be so excited! I hope you are enjoying your visit and having the best day ever at the Walt Disney World Resort. You picked a great time to visit with The World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts right around the corner.

As for your reservation, you can let your mother know that she did everything right! I always love to get in contact with a Cast Member when I have a question as they are real-life Fairy Godparents and can work their magic for you. Your mother is a Disney pro! To answer your question, you do not need to do anything else after you have changed your park reservation if you are only changing your itinerary by a day and depending on the type of ticket you have. If you purchased a two-day ticket for example, the ticket only expires four days after the date selected, which means that it is totally okay to change your visit within those days. If you wanted to postpone your itinerary more significantly, you would be able to change the dates of your ticket by going into your My Disney Experience account. There, you would either click on "My Plans" and then on "Tickets and Memory Maker" if you are using the website, or on the three bars at the bottom left of your screen and "Tickets and Passes" if you are using the mobile app. You will then have the option to change your ticket and reschedule your visit! Just make sure that you also cancel your park reservations and make new reservations for your updated itinerary. You can cancel a park reservation by going into the "My Plans" section of your My Disney Experience account and clicking on "View Details" next to your park reservation, or simply by calling a Cast Member directly.

I hope this was helpful, Dorothy, and that your visit is as magical as can be! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help! I am sending you all the pixie dust for your trip and hope that you have a magical day,
