Hi, there!
Susanne, it looks like you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this week. How wonderful! I bet you're counting down the days with excitement.
A meal at
Trail's End Restaurant always makes for a rootin' tootin' good time. This unique restaurant at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort serves up hearty, down-home fare that's sure to please every palate! To answer your question, Trail's End Restaurant now offers family-style meals instead of a buffet. At breakfast, Guests are treated to a fresh pastry basket, a berry-granola-yogurt parfait, and a skillet that includes smoked brisket and eggs, Mickey waffles, bacon, sausage, and cheesy potato casserole. Fresh Mickey waffles are the very best way to fuel a magical morning, if you ask me! The dinner menu at Trail's End Restaurant includes an oven-fresh bread basket, chopped salad, and a smokehouse skillet filled with pecan-smoked brisket, rotisserie chicken andouille, fingerling potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, and barbeque sauces. The dinner menu also features dessert - the covered wagon sundae! YUM! For more information on the family-style meals at Trail's End Restaurant, check out
Foodie News on the Disney Parks Blog.
If you time your dinner reservation at Trail's End Restaurant just right, you can catch a performance of
Happily Ever After from the beach at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. What a magical way to end the day!
Be sure to review the
Know Before You Go section of the Walt Disney World Resort website before your arrival this weekend. It has lots of important information about the health and safety measures that are being taken in
and out of the theme parks!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Susanne. I'm wishing you a Disney vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
