When renting a stroller can you put the 100.00 deposit on a debit card?

Welcome to planDisney, Diana! Having a stroller for your little one while you explore the parks is a wise decision! When my kids were younger, we always made sure to have one for those mid-day naps and navigating the crowds.

Yes, you can absolutely use a debit card for the $100 deposit when renting a stroller at the theme parks or Disney Springs. The way it works is that Disney places a hold on your card, rather than charging it outright. Once the stroller is returned at the end of your rental, the hold is released, and your money is made available again. If you’re using a debit card instead of a credit card, just keep in mind that some banks take a few business days to process the release, so it may not show up right away in your account.

If you’d rather not tie up the funds on your debit card, you could also choose to use a credit card for the deposit and then pay for the actual rental with your debit card. That way, you won’t be waiting on your bank to process the hold. It really comes down to what’s more convenient for you during your trip.
