Hello, Mary, and welcome to planDisney! Your visit is just around the corner — how exciting! November is an excellent time to experience the
Walt Disney World Resort, with cooler weather making the parks extra comfortable and often smaller crowds allowing you to savor every moment. Plus, you’ll get to see the resort’s transformation into a winter wonderland as the holiday decorations start appearing, adding a bit of holiday cheer to your vacation!
To answer your question,
Disney World’s Accessibility Guide offers helpful details about using an ECV (Electric Conveyance Vehicle) or scooter. When heading onto a ride, simply park your scooter in the designated stroller and wheelchair parking areas outside the attraction. Cast Members are always nearby and happy to help if you have any questions about where to leave it. To accommodate as many Guests as possible, the majority of attractions will allow you to
remain in your scooter, transfer to a wheelchair, or
transfer to a wheelchair and then ride vehicle. If transferring from your ECV is required for a particular ride, Cast Members will assist you to ensure you’re as comfortable as possible.
I highly recommend you check out the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival during your visit! It’s a culinary journey around the world where you’ll find delicious bites and sips from all corners of the globe. For classic EPCOT treats, try a Viking Coffee from the
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion or a refreshing margarita from
La Cava del Tequila in Mexico. Don't miss the
Maple Popcorn in Canada or the Fish and Chips from
Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK; both are perfect options as you stroll through the World Showcase.
Mary, thanks again for stopping by planDisney! I hope this information helps. If there’s anything else I can assist you with as you prepare for your visit to the Most Magical Place On Earth, just
let me know!
See you real soon!
Brent
