We are renting an ECV from Scooter Bug mobility. Do we need to be there when they deliver and pick up the ECV? Staying at POP requested King room (possibly accessible not sure). Will there be room to park the ECV in the room?

    Hi Patty!

Thank you for taking time to ask your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  You have a very good question.

Disney does not require that you be present at your resort hotel for deliveries of ECV's or other durable medical equipment.  It might be a good idea however to let the front desk know you are expecting a delivery of an ECV and the vendor.  They will store it for you until you arrive to pick it up.  Likewise you may leave the ECV with bell services at the end of your stay until your vendor picks it up.

The resort rooms in the value category are smaller than the deluxe category; however their design has a very efficient use of space. I have been able to store my double jogging stroller (unfolded) in the "corner" of a value room quite easily.  The amount of extra space for storing bulky items might depend upon how many adults you have in your room.  If you will be occupying the room with only your spouse you will definitely have plenty of room.  If you have 4 adults in one room you could be pressed for space due to the extra luggage.  It would still be possible, but you might have to be creative where to park the ECV every night.

Have a MAGICAL vacation Patty!  If you have any more questions, please come back and ask them here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
