Hi Chris, thanks for coming down to planDisney with your planning questions for your scooter rental. Walt Disney World is very accommodating if you have mobility differences.
Helpful services are available at all of the
Walt Disney World theme parks. There are several locations throughout each park for charging your ECV. Whether it is your personally owned ECV or rented there are outlets available. Each restaurant will have locations either outside or inside near your table for charging purposes. Be sure to mention it to the cast member and they will gladly help you locate the proper outlet. You will also find many "Relaxation Staions" situated throughout all of the parks where they will also have outlets available to charge your vehicle. When you visit each park, ask a cast member and they can let you know where each relaxation station is located.
Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities do not end at eating and driving in the park only. This link will also help you learn about each park and attraction. The accessibility and the load process so you can still enjoy the park with everyone else. The
Walt Disney World Bus Service can also accommodate up to 2 ECVs per bus. Most Bus stops will have a loading area designated to make loading and to unloading snap.
I hope this information is helpful and will make your stay a little easier. Your visit is around the corner but please do not hesitate to drop us another line if you have any other planning needs.
Have a magical stay!
Jeremy A.
