Will be renting ECV at MK & Epcot. We will spilt up part of the day but would like to be able to ride a few attractions together. My dad can not stand for long periods. Can we get a return time for entire party of 16? Should he get the GAC card? Thanks

    Hello again, Christine!

I love seeing families travel together to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Since you plan to rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) Rental, you will be happy to know that most queues are ECV friendly. Therefore, your dad will not need to request the Disability Access Service (DAS). In most instances, your dad will be able to use his ECV right up until it is time to board the attraction. There are some attractions where your dad will need to be ambulatory or transfer to an attraction wheelchair before entering a ride vehicle. The Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities page gives a detailed description of attraction access categories to help you prepare for your visit.

Traveling with a large party like yours does require some planning. My first suggestion is to coordinate your FastPass+ experiences so you can enjoy a few attractions together. Take advantage of Extra Magic Hours when crowds and wait times are less. When we travel with a large group, we use the time when other Guests watch parades to hit a few of our favorite attractions as queues tend to be a little shorter. You can also plan to see shows and other park entertainment together. Our family enjoys seeing The Festival of the Lion King and Beauty or the Beast-Live on Stage as a group. Be sure to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to help you locate wait times and entertainment in each park.

I hope this helps, and you have a magical time creating family memories.
