We are renting a double stroller for our trip in October. Can we bring this on the WDW Railroad at MK? I assumed we could but then read somewhere that they have to be left at the stations...but maybe that's just for the strollers rented in the parks?

    Hi Sarah,

Strollers are permitted on the Walt Disney World Railroad at the Magic Kingdom as long as they are folded.  Strollers that do not fold, such as those rented in the Magic Kingdom, will need to be left at the station.  However, in this case it is actually a convenience.  When you rent a stroller from Walt Disney World you have use of one for the entire day and you may pick up a new stroller at any time as long as you have your receipt.  Therefore before you board the train remove your belongings, stroller name card, and your rental receipt from the stroller and then pick up a new stroller at the stop.  It's that easy!

I have boarded the Walt Disney World Railroad with my double jogger type stroller as well as an umbrella type stroller with varying degrees of success.  I wouldn't have wanted to load the jogger stroller by myself and was thankful my husband was with me.  It's certainly possible to load the train with a full-size stroller but it is more cumbersome than an umbrella type stroller.

Thank you for your question Sarah!  I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning.  We love to answer Disney vacation planning questions, so please don't hesitate to ask all of your vacation planning questions here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Hope to hEAR from you again!

    Blessings,
