    Will be renting a double stroller to use around parks. How does this work when boarding the buses? Don't want to hold up the line. Best place to stash stroller on bus? Thanks for any tips re: stroller use at Disney.

    Hi Amanda!

    If you're renting a stroller from Walt Disney World, you will not be able to take it outside of the theme parks or Downtown Disney Area.  You will return the stroller at the exit of each park.  If you're renting a stroller from an outside company or bringing your own, you'll need to fold the stroller up before boarding the bus and keep it with you during the ride.  You will not be able to store the stroller in another part of the bus.

    When we were traveling with a double stroller, we would make sure to take the kids out of the stroller before getting in line at the bus.  Typically, my husband would handle carrying the stroller on the bus and I would take the kids.  We made it a team effort.  I suggest practicing folding/unfolding the stroller a few times before heading to the bus, and try not to store too much stuff under the stroller.  

    My number one tip for using a stroller at Walt Disney World is to make your stroller stand out!  You'd be amazed at how many strollers will look just like yours when it's sitting in stroller parking areas.  We attach a flag or balloon to the stroller to make it stand out in the crowd.  At night, we would attach a glow stick to the stroller to make it easy to find in the dark.
