We will be renting a car for the first time ever on our trip next week, and we've never used the parking lots before. Are credit cards accepted for parking payment? Thanks!!

    Hi Michaela,

Once again, greetings to you from a fellow Bluenoser! I hope this answer is getting to you in time as I believe you may have already started your vacation...how exciting! You sure picked a great week to leave all of the cold and snowy weather behind in Nova Scotia!

To answer your question, you are most certainly able to pay for parking at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks by credit card. Currently standard parking for cars and motorcycles is $20 a day. Be sure to keep your receipt in case you wish to leave and return as your fee covers parking at all four Theme Parks for the entire day.

A great tip I learned from past trips is to take a photo on my mobile device of my parking section and row number before heading into the Theme Parks as some of these parking lots are quite large. Sometimes it can be a challenge remembering exactly where you parked after a long day touring.

Also, remember that parking is complimentary for Annual Passholders and all Disney Resort hotel guests in case that applies to you.

Wishing you a wonderful Disney vacation!

    Magically Yours,

    Trish
