Hi Pam! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm excited to know that your summer trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is right around the corner!
Parking lots at each of the four theme parks open one hour before the scheduled opening times. A good way to keep track of park hours is by checking the
Park Hours Calendar. The calendar is also a great planning tool, because it helps you keep track of Extra Magic Hours, that’s time available exclusively to Disney Resort hotel guests before or after the parks are open to the public. Each day one of the theme parks will offer this extra magical time for Disney hotel guests to enjoy.
Pam, getting to the theme parks right when they open is a great idea if you’d like to experience attractions you were not able reserve with FastPass+. I’ve experienced this first hand with my family! Just last weekend, we waited only 20 minutes to ride
Frozen Ever After in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion at the World Showcase. My girls were thrilled!
As you’re making your plans, make sure you pencil in some time for
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Toy Story Land will open its doors to all guests this summer. It’s always fun to see what Disney’s Imagineers have been up to!
Don’t hesitate to come back to see us if you have any other questions! Helping you plan your magical vacation is our favorite thing to do!
