Hey there, Robin--thanks for visiting planDisney today!
I see that you're wondering whether you should be listed as the primary Guest on your upcoming reservation that was booked for you by a
Disney Vacation Club Member. Being able to share Vacation Points with family and friends is a great feature of Membership. We actually have our own trip coming up soon for my daughter's dance team nationals and I've shared Points with a fellow dance mom so she can stay close to the magic!
The Member that booked your stay should change the reservation information so that you are the primary Guest. This can be easily accomplished online by visiting the Member Dashboard. Under "My Vacation Plans", they can select your reservation, then choose "View or Modify Details". On this screen, it will list the Guests currently on the reservation and they'll be able to switch to your name and address. Don't forget to link your reservation on the
Walt Disney World website so you can make sure all of your plans appear in one place.
After your March vacation, I think it's very likely that you'll be bitten by the Disney Vacation Club bug! If you're interested in
exploring Membership for your own family, the always-amazing Member Services squad can assist you with scheduling
a virtual meeting, an on-demand webinar, or an in-person in tour with a Cast Member. There are not one but TWO new Disney Vacation Club properties scheduled to open in 2024, including a new tower at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Magic Kingdom views and DOLE pineapple treats on the beach? Sign me up!
Robin, I hope you have an amazing vacation! It was a pleasure assisting you and please come back to planDisney for any extra pixie-dusted tips we can help with.
Welcome Home!
Susan
