Do the rental strollers at Disney World recline? Do they have a canopy to the baby out of the sun?

    Hi Cynthia!

The strollers for rent at Walt Disney World do not have reclining backs and aren't really suitable for babies.  They are hard plastic bench-like strollers that have a canopy on the top.  You can do a Google image search for "Walt Disney World Stroller Rentals" to see what they look like.  Also with the park strollers, you cannot take them out of the park, so if you're looking for a stroller to use around your resort or Disney Springs as well, these are not for you.

If you're looking for a more standard stroller with a reclining back and sun shade, I highly recommend renting from an outside stroller rental company.  There are a few recommendations on the Walt Disney World Stroller Rental website towards the bottom of the page.  These companies rent for multiple days and drop off/pick up right at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.  The strollers they provide are very comfortable for infants, toddlers and young children and are very reasonably priced.  I personally own the single and double City Mini strollers that they rent.  Out of the three recommended companies, I have used Kingdom Strollers and have had a wonderful experience with them.

    Have a magical day!
