I will rent a wheelchair from Disney when at Magic Kingdom, and I have a mid-day reservation at Ohana, so we will need to leave the park for a couple of hours and then come back. Do I need to return the chair before we go to Ohana, or can I hang on to it?

    Greetings, Natalya,

Welcome back to planDisney, friend! Your magical adventure is coming up so soon! I hope that everyone in your travel party is getting excited about your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. A mid-day break at 'Ohana sounds absolutely delightful. This restaurant is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotel dining spots. And if by chance you save room for dessert after this fabulous meal, stop by the Pineapple Lanai for a classic DOLE Whip or Pineapple Float.

This is a great question, Natalya! Guests who are renting a wheelchair from a Walt Disney World Resort theme park or Disney Springs cannot remove the wheelchair from the destination the chair is rented from. The rental does last for the length of the day, so you will be able to pick up another wheelchair when you reenter the park, or if you Park Hop to another location. If this rental option doesn't fit the needs of your travel party like a glass slipper, you can utilize Scooter Bug, the featured provider for wheelchair and ECV rentals at Walt Disney World. You can rent a wheelchair from Scooter Bug, and they will deliver it to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to use for the length of your stay. You can even have it delivered before you arrive, and the company will leave it with Bell Services. This option will give you more flexibility if you need the wheelchair to get to your Disney transportation options and for use at your hotel accommodations.

And just a quick reminder before you arrive, don't forget to make your Park Pass reservations if you have not already checked this must-do item off of your magical to-do list. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Some dates may offer limited availability due to popularity, so don't delay, make your Park Pass reservations today!

I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
