Do you have to rent the umbrellas and chairs on the beach ahead of time? We did our own arrangements getting to the ship, however we are staying at Wilderness Lodge before the cruise and want to know if DCL would pick up our luggage from the resort.

Hi Susan,

Castaway Cay is by far the highlight of our Disney Cruise each and every voyage! This is the ideal beach vacation for our family. There is no charge for the umbrellas, chairs and hammocks on Castaway Cay, and they are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Coming soon, guests will have the ability to reserve one of Castaway Cay's newest enhancements - private beach cabanas. These will require pre-booking and the pricing is not yet available - so stay tuned to www.disneycruise.com for the latest information.

As for your second question - luggage transfer is only provided for guests that are utilizing the Disney Cruise Line transfer service.
