Can you still rent a tuxedo and have it delivered to your room

    Greetings Jimmy!

Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy that you brought your stylish question to us today. Anytime we can celebrate someone taking a Disney cruise, it’s truly a momentous occasion.

One of the major benefits of the longer cruises is the diverse evening entertainment. Tops on the list would be having a Formal Night to get all dressed up and fancy for! I’ve talked to many Guests who have used a tuxedo rental service for formalwear on their cruises. Sounds like this would make packing much easier. I always wondered how so many people had tuxedos, now I know their secret!

To my knowledge, the only company that consistently provided this service was called Cruiseline Formalwear. But it appears that with the lack of cruise ships on the seven seas, this rental service had to close its business. I’m unaware of another business that offers formalwear options for cruisers. Perhaps with Captains Mickey and Minnie back at the helms of their ships, it will mean the rental possibilities will have a resurgence. I recommend that you check with local Port Canaveral area tuxedo shops to see if any in the area would work with you.

Whether you are able to rent a tuxedo or choose to go with a suit or blazer, either selection will be the perfect fit with Formal Night. I hope that your upcoming cruise is a black tie affair from start to finish!

    Bon Voyage!
