It’s a small world after all, Monique, and I’m so glad you found your way to
planDisney!
Your magical getaway to the
Happiest Place on Earth begins tomorrow… time to get excited! Now, to make sure your tiny Mouseketeer has a comfortable spot to cuddle up during your adventures. I’m happy to report that the Disneyland Resort
offers both single and double jogging-style strollers for rent on a daily basis. A 6-month-old baby should be able to sit comfortably inside the single stroller thanks to the adjustable safety straps. Rental strollers also offer an oversized canopy to shade your little one, along with convenient features such as cup holders near the handlebar. You can actually see a small picture of the rental strollers
on the Stroller Rentals page here. The Mickey-themed stroller is the single, and the Minnie-themed stroller is the double. You can rent these strollers at the Stroller Rental building, which is located to the right of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance.
The only thing you may want to consider is that the seat itself is made of a plastic material, so it isn’t cushioned. So, if you’d prefer a cushier seat for your baby, I recommend renting a stroller from a company like ScooterBug, which is a private mobility rental company in Anaheim. I checked their website, and ScooterBug offers a City Mini 2 Single stroller which offers a cushioned seat, oversized canopy, and ample storage underneath, too. If you go with this option, you can have your stroller delivered to your hotel room, if you’re staying overnight, and you can keep it with you for the length of your stay, unlike the Disneyland Resort stroller rentals, which need to be turned in at the end of the day. For more information or to order through ScooterBug, you can visit ScooterBug.com/Anaheim or call (800) 726-8284.
You’re also going to want to get familiar with the
Baby Care Centers, located inside each theme park. The Disneyland Park location is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., and the Disney California Adventure Park location can be found on Pacific Wharf, just behind
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. These Centers are the perfect spot to nurse, change, or feed your baby. They’re also a great place to cool off on a warm summer day!
I hope this information helps you and your Mouseketeer enjoy a comfortable, memorable day at the Disneyland Resort, Monique!
See ya’ real soon!
