Do we rent a stroller at the parks or rent elsewhere (if so, where?) Staying at the Bay Lake Tower, and will be using monorails and buses to get around. My kids are 6 1/2 and 4. Don't know how hard it is to take strollers on the buses and monorails?

    Felecia:

I'm so jealous! Bay Lake Tower!

The stroller rentals are located inside the theme parks. So if you don't bring your own, you won't have to worry about collapsing it for the bus.  (FYI: You must collapse all strollers for bus transportation, Disney policy.  You do not have to collapse strollers when you ride the monorail--a life-saver if you have a napping child...)

With all that said, though, I recommend you bring your own stroller to Disney. After renting for several trips, it dawned on me I could have bought a brand-new stroller--and a nice one at that--for the cost of the rental. At $15 a day for a single stroller and $31 a day for a double (if you think your 6-year-old is going to need it, too), it begins to add up.

And if you're flying down from New Jersey you can simply check a stroller plane-side. Economically, it makes more sense to me.  Plus: it isn't difficult to collapse it on the buses--and worth the savings.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
