Hi, Dianna!
I’m glad to hear you’re planning a visit to the
Disneyland Resort. I’m a big fan of introducing little ones to the magic of Disney early on because there’s something extra special about seeing the Happiest Place on Earth through their young eyes!
Strollers rented directly from the Disneyland Resort (available just outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance) may be used in Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park, but they cannot be taken to the Downtown Disney District or the resort hotels.
There are many designated
stroller parking areas throughout both theme parks where you can temporarily leave your stroller while enjoying attractions and entertainment with your child. These areas are marked with signs, and there is sometimes a Cast Member nearby to provide assistance. When my family visits Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, I like to mark our stroller with a special sign or brightly-colored ribbon so it can be quickly spotted in the crowd. Check out the attached video for tips from Crystal, my friend and fellow panelist.
If you return to a theme park and are unable to locate your original stroller, simply present your receipt at the stroller rental location and you’ll be issued another. There’s no need to pay for a new rental as long as you hang on to your transaction receipt from earlier that day. I hope this information answers your question, Dianna! Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your vacation.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
