If we rent a scooter from a vendor outside the park, will we be able to transport it from park to park specifically on the Skyliner? Thanks!!

Hello there, Phyllis! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

As someone that frequently visits Walt Disney World Resort and also manages a chronic medical condition, I cannot overstate how much mobility devices have assisted me in doing more during my own trips! I know it can be a bit overwhelming at first but renting a wheelchair or ECV has the potential to assist you in making even more magical memories with your family!

If you choose to rent an ECV through an outside vendor, you most definitely will be able to transport it from park to park! In fact, I often recommend that Guests needing a mobility device outside of the parks rent through an outside vendor so that they may keep their device throughout the duration of their stay. Also, if you rent through ScooterBug, the Disney Featured Provider, you can actually have your device delivered right to your Disney Resort hotel!

You will also be happy to know that Guests utilizing ECVs may use the Disney Skyliner! Accesible gondolas can fit one ECV and up to six additional Guests at a time. This allows you and a large portion of your family to enjoy all the aerial views the Disney Skyliner has to offer together in the comfort of your own gondola!

I hope this information will assist you as you continue to plan for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
