If I rent a scooter at a park, can I leave it in stroller parking if I want to go offsite and come back later?

Hello Kelly! Welcome back to planDisney!

I am excited to hear that you are putting the finishing touches on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. As a guest with mobility issues, I have used an ECV on my last several Disney Vacations to assist me in getting around the theme parks and Disney Springs with my family.

ECV rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan on renting one while visiting a theme park, there is no need to leave it in stroller parking. You can return it to the rental area at the front of the park and advise the helpful Cast Member that you are planning to return to that theme park later in the day. They will hold the ECV for you until your return.

If you are planning to park hop to another theme park, you can return your ECV at the rental counter. They will return your deposit to you. When you are ready to hop to your second park, show your receipt at the rental counter and provide a new deposit and you will receive an ECV to use for the rest of the day in that park. You will not need to pay the full rental when park hopping.

I hope this helps with your planning and allows you to enjoy The World’s Most Magical Celebration! If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
