Hello Leonard! Thanks for bringing your great question to planDisney!
There are
several options for bringing and using an ECV, manual wheelchair, and power-assisted wheelchairs throughout the Disneyland Resort. You are invited to bring your own ECV as long as it aligns with the
Disneyland Resort rules and guidelines.
You are also able to
rent an ECV as well at the Stroller Shop located outside of the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. They are not able to be reserved in advance, so I do recommend trying to arrive early since there is a limited number available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis. If you do rent an ECV, you're able to use it in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District.
If you're looking for a longer-term rental, or want to be able to take your ECV back to your hotel, you may want to explore the options at
ScooterBug, a private mobility rental company in the Anaheim area. That may be a great option if you're staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel!
I hope this information is helpful for your trip planning, Leonard! Please
come back and visit us at planDisney if we can help with any other questions.
Have a magical day!
Melissa
