Hello again, Marci, thank you so much for consulting
planDisney with your question!
Disney Castaway Cay is an oasis and a place where your day will be filled with beautiful, white sandy beaches, fun activities, relaxation and delicious food, and I'm so happy to hear you are planning a water activity during your visit.
Marci, I was able to pull up two types of paddleboard activities for Disney Castaway Cay, the
Stand-Up Paddle Board Rental and the
Paddle Boat - 4 - Seater Rental and in reading through it seems that your daughter misses the age cut-off for the Stand-Up Paddle Board Rental, but is in the age category for the Paddle Boat - 4 - Seater Rental. If you have further questions, I recommend contacting
Disney Cruise Line by telephone or
Emailing Disney Cruise Line for more direction. What I do know, from personal experience, is that Disney Cruise Line follows strict guidelines for the safety of all Guests and in my opinion, based on this, I don't think sitting on the front of the paddleboard would be allowed - it's best to double-check with Disney Cruise Line for the final word Marci.
Tips:Please complete your Disney Cruise Line Online Check-In 30-days in advance of your arrival to select a Port Arrival Time, complete the necessary documentation and register your daughter in the
Disney Cruise Line Youth Clubs.
Download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing, and you can even use the App during your sailing to absorb incentives toward a future sailing with the
Disney Cruise Line Onboard-Only Offer.
Marci, I hope this information was helpful, I hope things work out in your favor during your visit to Disney Castaway Cay, and I wish you a most enjoyable sailing with Disney Cruise Line, thank you so much!
Jacqueline
