ECVs, or Electric Conveyance Vehicles, can be the perfect magic carpet to keep you flying around your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My mom and all of her sisters are like little Disney ducks gliding in a motorized row behind me on our family visits. You can rent them at the following locations at each of the 4 parks:
Hollywood Studios-Oscar's Super Service
EPCOT- the main entrance and the International Gateway entrance
Animal Kingdom-Garden Gate Gifts
Magic Kingdom-the main entrance
Go to any of these locations and speak with the Cast Members there, and they'll take any information they may need. Rental costs are currently $65 a day with a refundable $20 deposit at the parks and $65 a day with a refundable $100 deposit at
Disney Springs,
Typhoon Lagoon, or
Blizzard Beach, but of course, prices are subject to change. Be aware that all ECVs must stay in the park they're rented from, so if you plan to switch parks, you'll just need to provide your receipt to receive a new ECV once you arrive at the new destination.
Pro-tip: If you're looking for a rental that you can keep with you the entire length of stay, I'd suggest renting your ECV from a separate provider like ScooterBug. You'll be able to have your ECV delivered directly to your
Disney Resort Collection hotel, bring it on all
Disney transportation, and move it freely between parks for your whole vacation.
