Hi Ann!
In not too long, you will be in
Walt Disney World in sight of Cinderella Castle ready to fly with Peter Pan, cruise with yo-ho-ho singing pirates, and enjoy a Dole Whip!
Knee scooters are welcome in the theme parks and you will be able to use one in most attraction queues. You may leave the scooter in the boarding area of a ride, and a Cast Member will move it where you disembark. Knee scooters are not available for rent at Walt Disney World, but multiple third party businesses in Orlando rent them. A browser search will pull up several local companies that rent and deliver knee scooters to your
resort.
You may want to consider a wheelchair or an ECV for your time in the parks. You will take thousands of steps over acres of paved ground, and a wheelchair or an ECV will enable you to go at a quicker pace and be much less of a strain on your back and legs. On my last three day trip, I walked more miles than there are in the
Walt Disney World Marathon. A day in the parks can leave you tired and sore even when you are injury free.
Wheelchairs and EVCs are available for rent in the parks, so you might find it more convenient as well.
Wishing you a wonderful, pain free visit to see Mickey!
