Hello Sheila! Welcome back to planDisney with a great question.
Your magical vacation is just right around the corner and will be here before you know it. I am so excited that you will get to enjoy the
World’s Most Magical Celebration during your visit.
Sheila, the Walt Disney World Resort does a phenomenal job of providing Guests with mobility issues the ability to enjoy all four theme parks and Disney Springs.
Electric Conveyance Vehicles or ECVs will allow you to explore every ride, show, attraction, and experience during the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
ECVs are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis at all theme parks and Disney Springs. Advanced reservations are not accepted and quantities may be limited. I would advise that you arrive as early as possible in your day to ensure that one is available for you. The daily theme park rate is $50 a day plus a $20 deposit, Disney Springs is $100 plus a $20 refundable deposit. ECVs cannot be removed from the location where they have been rented. However, if you planning to park hop, just return your ECV to the rental area near the park entrance. Advise the Cast Member that you are planning to hop to another theme park. They will refund your deposit and give you a receipt for your rental. When you arrive at your second park for the day, you will not have to pay another rental fee. Just show the Cast Member your original receipt and present them another deposit to use an ECV, if available, at your second location.
If you have any more questions regarding Guests with mobility issues, you can contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
