Welcome to planDisney, Michael!
Thank you for bringing a great question our way! Nothing makes us happier than helping fellow Guests plan a visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth!
One of the things I love the most about the Walt Disney World Resort is that they do their best to accommodate all Guests. Several
services and access options are available for visitors with disabilities, so I recommend learning about them prior to your visit as they may benefit your family and make your visit even more magical!
You are welcome to rent health care equipment for use during your stay!
AdventHealth is the official health care provider at the Walt Disney World Resort and you can contact their team at (407) 939-7480 to arrange health care equipment delivery to your Disney Resort hotel before or during your vacation. If you are unable to reach them by phone, please
fill out this online form and they will get back to you. Another option is contacting
Orlando Medical Rentals. They have a variety of rental shower and bath equipment and offer delivery and pick up at Disney Resort hotels.
I was not able to find information on exactly how deep the bathtubs are, but most seem to be of a standard size. However, freestanding bathtubs, which seem to be deeper, are available in certain accommodation types, like the 3-bedroom Grand Villa at Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and the 1, 2, and 3-bedroom Villas at Disney’s Riviera Resort, for example.
I hope this information is helpful, Michael! You are welcome to contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com if you need further assistance. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
