\Hey there, Jude, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. Your Walt Disney World Vacation is only days away at this point! You’re so close that you can probably already taste those wonderful Disney Snacks on the tip of your tongue.
Walt Disney World does a great job of creating an atmosphere where all Guests can safely experience the resort. With this in mind, Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available for Guest rental at each Theme Park, Water Park, and Disney Springs location.
ECV rentals are an additional fee and are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The rental locations are right inside most of the park entrances, so you won’t have to go very far to grab your ECV. Once you arrive at the Theme Park, head over to the wheelchair/ECV rental counter, and the Cast Member will walk you through the entire process. ECVs are provided as daily rentals and must be rented each day from the Theme Park. ECV rentals are only available for use in the Theme Parks (or other locations noted above) and must be returned as you exit the location. If you plan to park hop, you will return your ECV as you exit each Theme Park and pick up a new one once you get to the entrance of the next one. If you are staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel as part of your visit and will require assistance outside of the Theme Parks, I recommend you consider an ECV rental with Scooterbug, Disney’s Authorized Provider. Scooterbug rentals give Guests the ability to use their ECV rentals throughout the entire resort, including resort hotels!
I hope this helps, Jude! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
