Ahoy, Rick! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your Disney Cruise Line question.
If you or another member of your sailing party need a motorized mobility aid for your upcoming cruise, then I recommend reading the “Information for Guests with Disabilities and/or Medical Conditions” document located
here. There is a section on “Rental and Delivery Companies” (located on page 22) that provides the contact information for four different companies that may be able to assist you. Disney Cruise Line only provides this list of rental companies as a convenience though and you are free to rent from any company that you choose.
Be aware that all guest equipment, including electric mobility scooters, must be stored inside your stateroom when not in use and the standard stateroom doorways are 23 inches wide. Although alternate parking locations are also offered onboard each ship, they may not be located conveniently to your particular stateroom.
If you have any other questions, then you can contact
Disney Cruise Line Special Services at (407) 566-3602 or email them at specialservices@contact.disneycruiseline.com prior to sailing. Once you are onboard, the
Guest Services desk will be able to address any of your questions or concerns.
I hope you are able to find the perfect rental company for your needs and have a fantastic time on your upcoming cruise. Happy sailing!
Catherine
