If you rent an ECV at a park can you just rent an ecv at Downtown Disney without paying for the rental again? If we rent an Animal Kingdom and save our receipt, do we just have to pay the difference in the deposit at DD or pay another $50?

    Hi Jennifer,

The deposit rates for ECV rentals are higher in Downtown Disney than at the other theme parks. When you return your ECV at Animal Kingdom, you'll be receive a refund on your deposit (not your rental fee). If you visit Downtown Disney on the same day, simply present your receipt. You'll still need to provide a refundable deposit, but you won't have to pay for the ECV rental.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
