Hi there, Jessica!
You've got a friend in me here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, so I'd be glad to answer your question.
When it comes to a Disneyland Resort vacation, a lot of walking is involved, so I'm glad that you are thinking ahead when it comes to getting around on your trip. A limited number of
electronic conveyance vehicles (ECVs) are available to rent near the entrance of Disneyland Park every morning. These cannot be reserved, so my advice is to arrive early if you plan on renting one. These can only be used between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park and not in the Downtown Disney District. For convenient length-of-stay rentals that you can take throughout the entire Disneyland Resort, you can contact the third party, Deckert Surgical Company, at (714) 542-5607.
If you choose to bring your own ECV, you are more than welcome to use it through the parks, Disneyland Resort Hotels, and Downtown Disney District. You can also take ECV's on the
Disneyland Monorail without having to get off. A Cast Member will provide a ramp for you to get on and off the monorail easily. The Disneyland Monorail is one of the most iconic attractions at the Disneyland Resort. We love taking trips on the monorail during different times of the day to see the parks in various lighting.
I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions!
