Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Blair ~
Taking an afternoon break from the parks is a great idea. It gives you time to refresh so that you can enjoy the parks after dark. I love how they come alive with all of the beautiful lights!
ECV Rentals are available in all four theme parks and Downtown Disney. These are available on a first come first serve basis and reservations are not accepted. ECVs must remain in the parks in which they were rented. If you visit other parks on the same day, you can show your receipt at the next park to obtain another ECV depending on availability. This is also true if you leave the park to take a break and return later in the evening. You can show your receipt when you return and get an ECV if available. They will not hold it until you return.
Another option is renting an ECV from a local private company that offers ECV rentals. You can find a list of some companies at the bottom of the ECV rental link above. This may be a cheaper option than renting each day in the parks. These companies will deliver and pick up ECVs to Disney resorts.
Here is some
information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board, and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.
Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
