Hey Howdy Hey Brian and welcome to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear you are getting ready for your Magical vacation in just a few weeks! Thank you for stopping by with your question on strollers for your trip. As a father of 3, I have dealt with the situation many times taking tired and sometimes sleeping children out of the parks. You have a friend in me to give you more information on navigating this situation. Giddy up!
As you mentioned Brian,
Disney does offer stroller rentals in the parks. You can get a single or double as well as rent for a day or the duration of your vacation. The only issue with these strollers is that they stay in the parks. So if you do have sleeping children or ones that are just completely worn out from a long and exciting day, you may have to carry them from the parks to your resort or car. If you do want an option to consider keeping the stroller with you throughout your trip, I've got you covered.
You can either bring your stroller from home or consider renting a stroller from a local company. Scooterbug is a rental company that is a Disney Featured Provider that rents strollers to families with little ones in Disney. These strollers will stay with you for the duration of your vacation and will only need to be returned at the end of your vacation. You can also feel free to do an internet search for "stroller rentals in Disney World" for other options as well. In our early days navigating the parks with little ones, the stroller we used for home was not super travel friendly so we did rent strollers. The City Mini that is typically rented is super convenient for the parks and resorts. You can maneuver these super easy and our girls were able to climb in and out really easily. They fold up super quickly and are easy to carry onto any form of
Disney Resort Transportation.
I hope this helped give you more information on navigating the parks with little ones and strollers. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach back out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
