Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A
Walt Disney World Resort vacation does entail quite a bit of walking, and it can be tiring for an adult, let alone a one year old child. Renting a stroller is a great idea, and they are available for
rental at the Theme Parks and
Disney Springs, however, I don't recommend renting the strollers that are offered there.I have rented them in the past when my children were younger, and they found them to be uncomfortable. The strollers are plastic and do not recline. Another thing to consider is that the strollers rented in the Parks would need to be returned upon exiting the Parks and Disney Springs so, if your child is asleep, it's not an ideal situation. Carrying exhausted child onto a bus and through the halls of your Resort Hotel to get back to your room is not very magical at all.
I suggest renting a stroller through Kingdomstrollers.com. The strollers are delivered to and picked up from your Resort Hotel. All you have to do is choose your time of delivery and pick up time and they do the rest for you.
I hope this information helps. Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!
Enjoy Your Magical Visit,
Susan
