we are going to rent a car to come to disney so when we do arrive at the rental place how do we get from the rental place to our resort?

    Hello Kenneth!

First of all, let me say you are going to have the BEST time on your upcoming Disney vacation!!  WOO HOO!

Driving to Disney World is really easy.  I am assuming you will be flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) and picking your rental car up from there.  Once you leave the rental car area, please proceed to the South Exit of the airport and take SR417 South (also called Central Florida GreeneWay.)  SR417 is a Tollway, so you will pay two tolls of $1.25.  SR417 will take you to the Walt Disney World area, but there are different roads to take to the different Disney resorts.  To further help you in your planning, there is an unofficial Disney website not affiliated with Walt Disney World called that has listed driving directions to every resort from Orlando International Airport.

Just in case you did not know, Disney actually offers a FREE transportation service called Disney's Magical Express from Orlando International Airport to every Disney resort, including free transportation from your resort to the four Disney Parks, two water parks, and Downtown Disney.  For more information about Disney's Magical Express, please click HERE.

    Have a MAGICAL day!
