    Can you rent a car at Port Canaveral and if so, is there transportation to the Rental Car Agencies?

    Hi there, Coral!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation coming up!  Your FANTASTic adventure on at sea will be here before you know it and I know the excitement is building!  If this is your first Disney Cruise Line vacation you are going to have just the best time…and if it is not your first….well, you will still have the best time!!

    My family has not personally rented a car in Port Canaveral, but I know that there are rental car companies in the area.  Disney Cruise Line does not offer ground transportation to the rental car facilities but some of the rental companies may offer transportation to/from the port for customers with reservations for a rental car.  I would recommend checking with the specific companies around Port Canaveral or Cocoa Beach to see if any of them could offer you transportation to – or from – the port depending on your needs.  If you are really only in need of transportation to Orlando International Airport, Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transfers to/from the airport.  Current pricing for a one-way ground transfer is $35/person but is subject to change without notice.  Ground transfers can be booked by contacting Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 and they must be added to your reservation at least three days prior to your sailing.
