If we rent a car on the last day of our stay can we put it in the Magic Kingdom or hotel parking lot till we leave for free ?, do we need to pre book the car or parking for that last day ? Thanks

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Suzanne!

You must be so excited as you plan the details of your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, and asking great questions such as this one will help you make the most of the magic while there.

Parking options at the Walt Disney World Resort vary, so it's smart to do a little research to find what works best for you. Although parking fees are subject to change, we can review policies in effect at the time of this writing.

I called Guest Services to confirm that once you rent your car, you can use your MagicBand at your resort's security gate to enter the resort's parking area. Let security know that you are not leaving your car there overnight, but are going to load up your car as this is your last day at the resort. Because you are not leaving your car there overnight, there will be no parking fee.

If you choose to drive over to Magic Kingdom Park, "Standard theme park parking is included for registered Guests of Disney Resort hotels", so you won't have to pay to leave your car there as enjoy every last moment of your Walt Disney World vacation.

In both cases, you won't have to pre-book your parking, either, so no worries there. What a great way to spend your last day!

Have so much fun on your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Suzanne! As you think of more questions, be sure to send them our way. We love to help!
