I renewed my Disney Sorcerer Annual pass on 6/17/22. My old pass expired 7/13/22. My Disney Experience lists my new expiration date as 6/17/23. Shouldn't the new expiration date be 7/13/22?

Hey there, Robert! Welcome to planDisney

Congrats on renewing your Walt Disney World Annual Pass. I just renewed mine too and I am so excited about another year of magic.

The date you see reflected in your MyDisneyExperience account isn't your true expiration date. Typically, you'll see one year out from the date you renewed until you use your Walt Disney World Annual Pass for the first time after your renewal. Then, once it is activated again, the date will switch over to your true expiration date. So if your old expiration date was in July of 2022, it will now be in July of 2023. My Walt Disney World Annual Pass did the same exact thing. Then, I went to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks last week and it updated in the system. Once you arrive in October, I am confident the same will be for you.

If you have additional questions about this though, don't forget about the special V.I.Passholder telephone line that you can call. It's a dedicated phone number for annual passholders only so it's typically less time on hold - which is nice! That phone number is 407-WDW-PASS.

I hope this helps, Robert. If you have any other questions about this, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help!

Have fun on your next trip.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
