Hello! I just renewed my annual pass. Will I receive a new card when I activate my pass on my first Park day?

    Hi Erin!

How exciting that you will continue to be a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder. We too are Passholders, and renewing my pass is the promise of a year of magic to come!

As you mentioned, you will need to activate your Walt Disney World Annual Pass on or before your first park day. You can do this at any theme park ticket window, or Guest Relations outside any of the theme parks or at Disney Springs. Be sure to bring your photo ID with you! At this time, you will receive a new Annual Passholder Card. This card will be your admission ticket to the theme parks, and allow you to access your FastPass+ reservations. You should also always be prepared to show the card to receive Annual Passholder perks and discounts.

If you already have a MagicBand linked to you in My Disney Experience, that MagicBand will work for park admission and FastPass+ as well as your Passholder Card. Once you have entered a theme park for the first time with your renewed Annual Pass, you will also be able to customize a new MagicBand in My Disney Experience!

I hope this helps to answer your question, Erin. I am sending you pixie dust for a year full of magic, wonder, and FUN!
