Hi moms! I just renewed my annual pass! My 2017-2018 pass doesn’t expire until 9/3/18. Can I pick up my new pass before this date and when would it start? I’m going to be in another state from late August to January, but plan on using my pass after that.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly!

Hooray for another pixie-dusted yEAR with your renewed Annual Pass! I hope you plan on many visits so you can create even more magical memories with each enchanted vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Kelly, during your upcoming visit you can stop by a Guest Relations location to grab an updated card with your new expiration year stamped on it. No worries about the clock on your renewed pass starting until your old one expires.

If you don’t get an opportunity to stop by Guest Relations during your upcoming visit, hakuna matata; no worries! Because you renewed before your current pass expired, you won’t experience a lapse in your AP benefits, so you can still use any existing MagicBand you have for future visits, as long as all your details are updated and linked in your My Disney Experience account.

Pre-tip! Be sure to bookmark the benefits and discounts page on your mobile device so you can easily access it during your visits and take advantage of all the exclusive offers available to Annual Passholders.

    Wishing you many magical moments,

    Emille ºoº

Hi! My name is Emille. I’m a mom of two and wife to a wonderful fellow Disney nerd! As a current Florida resident and Annual Passholder, I love being able to visit the Walt Disney World Resort frequently. When I’m not at the Parks, you can find me leading worship at my local church or traveling with a prison ministry I sing and speak for. I look forward to answering your questions and sharing some of my favorite tips to help you plan your next magical Walt Disney World vacation! Learn More About Emille
