    I renewed my annual pass last month and am going to WDW in just a few days. Can I go right into the park the first day or do I need to have it activated?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    This is a great question and I kind of  have an answer for you.

    I have had two different experiences with this. The first time I renewed my Walt Disney World Annual Pass, I was able to just walk in using my MagicBand for entry. The second time, they asked me to head over to Guest Relations to pick up a new card and activate the pass.

    I spoke with a Cast Member and they said that some people can enter immediately, while others need to go to Guest Relations for activation. It depends on what type of pass you have and how old your Annual Passholder card is that you use for discounts, as you may need a newer version.

    I'm sorry this is somewhat of a vague answer. It's worth a shot to go right in, but just know that they may send you to Guest Relations anyway.
