Hey there, Tanya.
I hope you are so excited for another year of magic coming your way! I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now and it's just so much fun. I know you are going to make even more memories to last a lifetime this next year.
Tanya, when you
renew a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, your expiration date stays the same - it just switches to the next year. Because you are not purchasing a new annual pass but rather extending the one that you have it is already activated and ready to go. If your old expiration date was November 22, 2021, then your new expiration date will be November 22, 2022.
The Walt Disney World Annual Pass program did get a big overhaul and now that you've renewed your pass will be switched over to the new system. I'm not sure what level of annual pass that you have but you'll want to take some time looking over the new passes and seeing what is all included in your program. I know for me, I now have a few more
park pass reservation days than I did previously. I was upgraded from being able to hold 3 park pass reservations at a time not now holding 5 at a time without a Walt Disney World Resort stay. I'm absolutely loving this new feature. It makes planning a long weekend at Walt Disney World so much easier.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder renewal process, Tanya. If you have more questions about this, I'd love for you to come back and
ask me. I'm here to help. If not, I hope you have another wonderful and magical year. Enjoy!
