I would like to renew my vows with my husband on our vacation. However I don't want or need all of the items in the wedding package. Just a location, and an officiant. My husband is currently battling cancer, and this is very important to us.

Hi Thomasina! Having your vows renewed at Walt Disney World would indeed be a very magical and special thing for you to do during your husband's valiant health battle.

My husband and I had a vow renewal several years ago and it was special. We did work with the Disney Fairy Tale Wedding group to plan and execute all the details that went along with it. I suggest you contact them and talk with someone personally and explain what you are needing and why and see if they can come up with something that is personal, small, and just for you. To do it on your own means you cannot block any public area on property for your small ceremony and it will not be intimate and private. It would be best to work with the planners if possible.

My best to you and your husband that you will be sharing many more anniversaries in the future years.
